Vladimir Gornstein appointed INTERPIPE NTRP Chairman.

Vladimir Gornstein was appointed Chairman of the Board for INTERPIPE’s Nizhnedneprovsky Tube-Rolling Plant (INTERPIPE NTRP)  on October 1st. In addition to that, on October 1 Vladimir Gornstein was appointed as the Chairman of INTERPIPE NIKO TUBE Supervisory Board.

“Vladimir is a strong manager with a strong vision and unconventional approaches to the organization of production processes. All results, achieved by INTERPIPE NIKO TUBE over the time of his employment, confirm his successful approach– INTERPIPE’s CEOAlexander Kirichko commented. – In addition to this, Mr. Gornstein is one of the most experienced tube rollers in the CIS territory. His understanding of production processes and experience working at the company will help to increase in efficiency in the production of seamless pipes, and will also strengthen the cooperation between the enterprises in our Company”.

Mr. Gornstein has been working at INTERPIPE since 2011, starting as the Deputy General Manager and then moving onto General Manager of INTERPIPE’s NIKO TUBE mill. Before joining the Company, Vladimir Gornstein had held the position of ChTPZ Group General Manager and Deputy General Manager at OJSC Pervouralsky Novotrubny Plant (a part of the ChTPZ Group). He  has also been Director of OJSC Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant. Vladimir Gornstein graduated from Ural Polytechnic Institute with a metallurgical engineer major.

Andrei Korotkov, who previously held the title of Chairman of INTERPIPE NTRP has left the Company. Mr. Korotkov had successfully managed the enterprise for 6 years. INTERPIPE expresses its most sincere gratitude to Andrei Korotkov for his contribution to the company’s development.


Specialties of Nizhnedneprovsky Tube-Rolling Plant include the production of seamless pipes for the oil and gas industry, mechanical engineering, and construction. The mill is the world’s third and the only Ukrainian producer of railway wheels. The mill’s staff consists of approximately 6,100 people.

INTERPIPE NIKO TUBE is one of the largest producers of seamless pipes for the oil and gas industry. It producesspecial application pipes for mechanical engineering, the power industry, and general application pipes used in other industries. The mill’s staff consists of approximately 4,000 people.
