Interpipe enters the Bahrain oil and gas market
Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has successfully completed the prequalification of Tatweer Petroleum and got into the list of approved line pipe suppliers for the Bahrain market.
Tatweer develops and manages several fields requiring large volumes of pipes including products for acidic environments.
Earlier Interpipe could not take part in the tenders for this Bahrain state-owned company because it was not included in the list of recommended suppliers.
Vera Smal, Interpipe Pipe Products Division Director:
– We have passed the prequalification of the oil and gas company Tatweer Petroleum due to our experience in the region. Earlier Interpipe completed a number of orders for ASRY (Arab Shipbuilding & Repair Yard) – the largest shipbuilding company in the Middle East. We are now looking to step up our presence at the Bahrain OCTG pipe market.
