Interpipe enters the Turkish premium connections market
Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has delivered premium flush connection Interpipe UPJ-F conforming CAL IV level to the Turkish client for the first time.
This order was sophisticated for execution as far as end customer, Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortakl??? (TPAO), had set additional specifications, for instance, strict regulation of the steel chemical composition, phosphating pipe ends, etc.
Additionally, the Turkish customer made special demands for the UPJ-F external thread to be processed abrasively.
Entering the Turkish premium pipes market is the Company's milestone. Turkey recently discovered a large gas field in the Black Sea. Therefore, Interpipe expects to provide this deposit with premium products.

- This order is of strategic importance for Interpipe. Only three manufacturers in the world produce such unique premiums. We have shown to the Turkish market, where we constantly compete with Chinese manufacturers, that the Company can fulfill complex project orders quickly and on time.
The first UPJ-F delivery to Turkey will strengthen our position in this premium connection market. Our strategy is to increase shipments of premium products all over the world.

Interpipe is global producer of steel pipes and railway wheels, based in Ukraine. The company’s products are marketed in more than 80 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets of Ukraine, Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2019, Interpipe supplied 798 kt of finished goods, including 203 kt of railway products.
