Interpipe paid UAH 2.54bln in taxes and duties in 2020


During 2020 Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe transferred UAH 2.54bln in taxes to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds. Comparing with 2018 the volume of tax expenditures decreased by 22 percent mainly due to the drop of finished goods output.

Transfers to the state budget amounted to approximately UAH 1.56bln as well as UAH 566mln was paid to the local budgets. Moreover, UAH 411mln was transferred as Single Social Payment (SSP).



The taxes paid by Interpipe in 2020 could be enough to cover total budget expenses of three cities in Dnipropetrovsk region – Nikopol, Pavlograd and Novomoskovsk. Moreover, Interpipe’s tax payments are comparable with two budgets of such regional center as Uzhhorod or a single budget of Ivano-Frankovsk.

Denis Morozov, Interpipe’s CFO:
- Despite COVID-19 pandemic and lowered sales each ton of our products in 2020 provided UAH 3832 to the Ukrainian budget that is comparable with 2019-year figure. Interpipe’s example demonstrates once again that the production and export of high value-added products even during crisis period ensures supplement of budgets of all levels.
