The project involves multiple shallow-water gas reservoirs, requiring offshore pipe installation under challenging conditions.
Due to the subsea location of the gas-bearing formations, high gas-tight integrity of the tubing strings is essential. To meet these demands, Interpipe supplied premium-grade tubing equipped with our proprietary UPJ-M gas-tight threaded and coupled connection, specifically engineered for harsh geological environments.
Artem Artemov, Pipe Sales Director for the Middle East, Asia, and Africa at Interpipe:
- Türkiye is actively expanding its offshore gas production in the Black Sea, and each project brings specific engineering and logistical demands. Despite tight timelines and challenging upstream conditions, our team ensured smooth and timely delivery. The pipe columns were successfully run for the well's operation at full capacity. This project reinforces Interpipe’s capabilities to support offshore oil and gas developments with robust tubular solutions.
