Interpipe entered the niche market of drilling tools production, approved as a supplier

Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, is an active player of mechanical engineering market and recently added new product to its portfolio.

A trial order for linepipes of E470 steel grade by EN 10297-1 standard requirements was delivered to a French producer of drilling tools for energy and mining industry. The full volume was successfully processed at the customer’s production site, granting Interpipe a place on the approved suppliers list.

The customer’s final product is used for mining exploration, specifically for the drilling of extension wells for geological examination of gold and copper deposits.

- The customer specified strict deviation tolerances regarding tubes eccentricity and local straightness, which we carried out successfully. The chemical composition and mechanical properties passed the tests as well.

Interpipe supplies pipes for energy segment and general engineering purposes. Now the Company has widened its project portfolio with components for drilling equipment.

Interpipe is global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine. The company’s products are marketed in more than 50 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets of Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2024, Interpipe supplied 511 kt of pipes and 115 kt of railway products. Railway products are sold under the KLW brand.

The total number of Interpipe’s employees is about 9.5 thousand people. The number of our employees who serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other law enforcement agencies is at the level of 1070 people.

During 2024 the Company transferred a record amount of paid taxes and fees - UAH 5.5bln - to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
