URC2025 is a valuable platform for dialogue between politics, industry leaders, institutions, and investment funds — all working toward Ukraine’s recovery and future resilience.
Interpipe shared its 2032 investment program for modernization and expanding wheel and wheelset production under the KLW brand and outlined development priorities. A large-scale extension of production amounted to $120 mln includes new heat-treatment line construction investments, enhancing wheel and axle finish-machining capacities, and shop infrastructure modernization.
Vitaliy Suyeta, Product and Resources Director at Interpipe:
- Interpipe’s long-term strategy is focused on increasing market share in the passenger segment. With strong position in the freight segment, this investment program will allow us to expand our product portfolio, as every passenger wheel has its own specific wheel design according to technical specifications, often requiring the development of a separate manufacturing process.
Furthermore, each project we implement includes a strong environmental component - from reducing CO2 emissions to boosting energy efficiency across our operations. We strengthen our export position with absolutely new level of quality.
