Interpipe supplied pipes for bridge construction in Germany
Share the news:
Interpipe, a global manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, has comprehensive experience producing pipes for construction projects in Europe, particularly bridges.

The geography of our cases is quite wide: from railway bridge in Slovakia to suspension bridge over Gulf of Izmit in Türkiye. This year our project portfolio has been expanded with a new bridge for A143 highway in Germany.

The pipes manufactured by Interpipe will hold the bridge over the Saale River, which is already under construction. The bridge will become part of a new bypass road near the city of Halle. Interpipe received an order for 300 tons of construction pipe. The batch included 219 mm in diameter line pipes in accordance with the standards EN 10210, EN 10297, EN 10216-3, and referring to DBS 918002.

Marcel Schmitz, Pipe Sales Manager for European Markets at Interpipe:

- Germany is a major economic and transport hub in Europe, so the country depends on reliable transport routes. Most of local highway and train bridges were built over 40-50 years ago and need thorough reconstruction or rebuilding. So, in the coming years, we hope to contribute to other similar projects included in the German state roads renovation plan, supported by our key customers in Germany.
