Interpipe supplies OCTG pipes for geothermal project in Slovakia

Interpipe, a global manufacturer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, promotes sustainable development principles supporting the development of environmentally friendly energy solutions across Europe.

This time, the Company supplied OCTG pipes for a geothermal project in Slovakia which has been actively investing in renewables as a part of its national energy transition strategy. The new system should supply almost 175,000 MWh of clean energy annually.

For the Slovak geothermal project, Interpipe delivered a significant volume of nearly 1,000 tons of threaded seamless casing with API Buttress connection. The batch included a range of diameters from 7" to 13 3/8". The pipes were manufactured in accordance with the API 5CT standard and designed to perform reliably in demanding geothermal conditions.

The company’s products are marketed in more than 50 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets in Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2024, Interpipe supplied 511 kt of pipes and 115 kt of railway products. Railway products are sold under the KLW brand.

During 2024 the Company transferred a record amount of paid taxes and fees - UAH 5.5bln - to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
