WHY INTERPIPE
Interpipe is a socially responsible company that has always provided support for its employees. Despite the challenges of today, Interpipe's plants in Dnipro, Samar and Nikopol are operating steadily, remaining a reliable supplier of products and a responsible employer. During the full-scale war, the company significantly strengthened its support for people and strives to make its employees feel part of a large business that is able to develop in a front-line region. In total, 9,500 employees are working at the company's plants. Safe conditions were created at the production sites, with concrete shelters and safe houses.

Social responsibility
From the first day of work, the company guarantees official employment and wage payment without delay. In addition to financial motivation, Interpipe has other means of support. This includes a comprehensive social package, paid sick leave and holidays, health insurance, comfortable living conditions, corporate transport and more.
During the full-scale invasion, the company raised wages twice and made extra social commitments to its employees, including helping to restore housing after shelling, paying for summer holidays for its employees' children and providing systematic support to veterans and the military who defend the country.
The employer also introduced a strong monthly support package for employees from Nikopol, which includes food certificates.
JOB TRAINING
Job from scratch
Training in related professions
Higher education at the company's expense
Advanced training
The company offers jobs to employees without necessary experience and knowledge, provided they get on-the-job training in their chosen field. All programmes are licensed and last from 2 to 6 months, covering both theoretical and practical parts. During the latter, students complete production tasks under the guidance of a qualified mentor. Official employment starts from the first day of training; students get a salary and enjoy a full social package and support programmes.
The company creates favourable conditions for the professional development of its employees. In particular, employees can learn a related profession — an extra speciality they can also practice in the company. First, training in related professions allows us to expand the level of our employees' skills and rotate production staff. 3 out of 5 workers have 3–5 specialities: slinger, repairman and others.
Interpipe employees have the opportunity to get higher education at the company's expense. The company supports and encourages those who want to develop and grow their careers. Bachelor's and Master's degrees in modern technical specialities are offered at the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technology as part of a special programme between the university and Interpipe. Employees can get degrees in the following areas: Metallurgy, Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electromechanics, Metrology, Environmental Protection Technology and others. This initiative is becoming increasingly popular every year, as the cost of education in Ukrainian universities is only growing.
Interpipe provides its staff with opportunities to improve their expertise, improve their knowledge and skills in the steel industry, which in turn has a positive impact on their careers. Employees master new equipment, learn about materials, modern technological processes, mechanisation and automation tools used in production, as well as the rules and requirements for their safe operation.
INDUSTRIAL PRACTICE AND INTERNSHIPS
For students of vocational schools and universities
Theoretical knowledge gained at educational institutions does not allow young people to work in production at a genuine expert level after graduation. They usually need extra training and retraining directly on the job. This is due to curricula lagging behind the pace of production modernisation and often outdated material and technical facilities of vocational and higher education institutions.
Interpipe invites students of vocational and higher education institutions to go to industrial or undergraduate on-site temp work or internship at the company and is ready to offer them jobs in the event of successful graduation and acquisition of relevant expertise and skills.
Student programmes include:
- general introduction to the plant and the company,
- theoretical study of existing technologies and equipment,
- teaching practical skills and abilities at one of the plants,
- providing information for a term paper or a graduation paper in their field of study.
