Social Package for the Employees

During the full-scale invasion, the company significantly expanded its social package for the employees. In addition to corporate transport, meal compensation, provision of workwear and decent living conditions, Interpipe pays great attention to the safety and support of its employees.

Gifts for the Employees

Gifts for Children

Twice a year, on the professional holiday (Metallurgist Day in July) and on winter holidays, the staff of all Interpipe enterprises get useful gifts, including power banks, flashlights and grocery certificates. When choosing them, the company focuses on practicality and everyday needs. Greeting people twice a year is one of the elements of the company's extensive programme to support its employees during the war.

Every year, the company helps send first-graders to school whose parents work for Interpipe. This tradition has been maintained despite the war. Before school starts, children get comfortable backpacks and school supplies. Traditionally, each employee's child receives a set of choolates for the New Year and Christmas holidays.

Recreation for Children

Camp in the Carpathians

In the summer, children of the company's employees, including children of military personnel and veterans, have the opportunity to go to a children's camp in the safest regions far away from the war. Interpipe pays 80% of the trip cost. Children of mobilised and demobilised employees get a free trip. The camp offers a special programme for young guests that allows them to spend time in an interesting and useful way and reveals their athletic and creative talents.

City of Professions

Since 2024, Interpipe has been organising City of Professions, a free teenage career guidance camp for children of its employees at the leading technical university Dnipro Polytechnic. Children aged 11–16 attend a variety of interactive classes in physics, chemistry, geology and other technical disciplines. The main goals of the City of Professions are to get children interested in technical sciences and organise an unforgettable summer holiday even in the face of a full-scale war. The camp is free for children. All expenses are covered by Interpipe.

Events for Children

The company organises regular relief weekends for the children of employees from the city of Nikopol, which has been recognised as a war zone since July 2022. Meetings for children are organised at the entertainment centre. Specialists conduct masterclasses for boys and girls. Children make ornaments, toys, paint gingerbread and dishes, take part in quizzes, neon dance shows and discos.

Support for the Mobilised

Interpipe has been in constant contact with its employees enlisted in the military since the first day of mobilisation and provides comprehensive support.

Medical Support

Individual Coordinator

Every employee who went to defend the country can get help from the company. First and foremost, it includes tactical medical equipment, body armour, helmets and high-quality outfits: combat boots, uniforms, thermal underwear, load-bearing vests, knee pads, tactical gloves, etc. Interpipe also helps defenders on the front line with vehicles and expensive equipment, such as portable radios, thermal cameras, power generators, drones, etc. Each request is considered on a case by case basis. Priority is given to the military in the hottest flashpoints.

The company provides individual legal advice and support to its mobilised employees. Among other things, we interpret laws, explain individuals their rights, assist in preparing document packages for receiving payments, etc.

In case of injury or illness, mobilised employees get medicines, medical equipment, advice from civilian doctors, examinations and in some cases extra care in hospitals and transfers between hospitals and units.

Each mobilised employee is assigned an individual coordinator who accompanies the soldier from the first day of mobilisation to the end of his service and acts as a bridge between the employee and the employer. Coordinators work 24/7, as requests from mobilised employees come in day and night, on weekends and holidays. The employee also keeps in constant contact with the families of the mobilised employees.

Veteran Reintegration

The company adopted a veteran reintegration policy that applies to all demobilised employees without exception, as well as non-company veterans.

Medical Support

Each veteran who joins the company after demobilisation undergoes an in-depth medical examination, extra comprehensive examination if indicated, as well as treatment and rehabilitation to the extent required. If necessary, according to an individual treatment plan, the veteran gets necessary consultations, medicines, laboratory and other tests, outpatient or day hospital treatment at the corporate clinic or other medical facilities in the region at the company's expense and has the opportunity to attend physical rehabilitation courses. There is also communication with a psychologist as part of an in-depth medical commission and further support if necessary. A medical insurance programme is in place.

If necessary, veterans take rehabilitation courses at RECOVERY, a national network of rehabilitation centres for wounded soldiers founded by Victor and Olena Pinchuk to help the Security and Defence Forces.

Psychological & Emotional Support

In late 2024, Interpipe launched weekly events for veterans and their families with elements of various types of social and psychological rehabilitation. Depending on the time of year, the groups attend equine-assisted therapy and animal-assisted therapy, adaptive fishing, pottery and creative workshops. There are no restrictions by demobilisation period or health status. The programme of such measures takes into account international experience in veteran adaptation to civilian life.

Job Selection

The Patronage Service works with demobilised employees on a targeted basis and tries to adapt the functional field, working conditions, schedule and position to each specific veteran with a disability who is ready to return to work at the enterprise and look for solutions together. To do this, the company analyses the veteran's experience, skills and physical capabilities on the one hand and the production needs on the other.

Legal Assistance

Legal assistance for colleagues does not end after demobilisation. In particular, veterans are provided with explanations on their combatant status, the issuance of the relevant certificate, compensation and additional payments.

Support for Grieving Families

Interpipe has a programme to support the families of employees who died at the front line.

Rehabilitation Camp in the Carpathians

The programme is based on a psychological rehabilitation camp for widows and children in the Carpathians which aims to help them overcome trauma. The programme takes into account the world's best methods and therapeutic practices, including equine-assisted therapy, canine-assisted therapy, art therapy and more.

Birthday Gifts for Minors

The company congratulates children of employees who were killed, missing or in captivity, on their birthday. Each child receives a gift certificate for UAH 5,000 to purchase goods in a home appliance and gadget store.

Holiday Greetings

As of 2023, the company has been sending Christmas and St Nicholas Day greetings to the children of its employees killed in action, missing and captured, selecting an individual dream gift for each child. In fact, the company makes children's dreams come true, which are discussed with their mothers in advance. Greeting children is one of the elements of support for grieving families.
