Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway wheels products, announces an increase of employees' salary by 10% effective from October 1st, 2021.

The salary increase will affect all employees of the Pipe division, Steel division and Railway Product division, as well as managing company staff. A differentiated approach is going to be applied depending on the division and employee category.

Earlier in 2021 Interpipe has already increased the production staff salary on all industrial assets.

- The Company continues to adhere to high social standards. Since the beginning of COVID-19 quarantine, we have introduced unprecedented security measures, including free PCR testing and free corporate transport. Even during numerous lockdowns our operations maintained, employees and their families had a stable income. Interpipe regularly reviews production staff salaries. In October we are launching second promotion for this year to support our employees and ensure their financial stability. So, considering this increase the average salary will grow by more than 20% by the end of 2021.

The company’s products are marketed in more than 80 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets of Ukraine, Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2020, Interpipe supplied 662 kt of finished goods, including 192 kt of railway products.

Interpipe has 11 thousand people working at the company’s facilities. During 2020 the Company transferred UAH 2.54bln in taxes to budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
