Insulation coating
The company offers additional solutions for protecting pipelines from corrosion: external 2 and 3-layer polyethylene and polypropylene coatings.
External coating can be applied to seamless and welded pipes with diameters from 114 to 530 mm. By agreement, the internal coating service for the entire product range is available. Depending on the required operating conditions, the number of layers and the pipe diameter, the coating thickness ranges from 1.5 to 6 mm.
Interpipe offers several types of pipe designs depending on the purpose and operating conditions of the pipes:
- heat-resistant,
- highly frost resistant,
- special (for pipeline sections and underwater junctions constructed using the closed-lay method).
Pipes with such coating are suitable for use even in extreme climatic conditions in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C.
The coating quality is confirmed by certificates of compliance with international standards DIN 30670, EN ISO 21809-2011 and EN 10288.
Pipes for acidic environments
The company manufactures line pipes for use in aggressive environments. These products are used to transport oil and gas containing hydrogen sulphide (H2S). Interpipe developed Sour Service steel grades specifically to prevent sulphide corrosion cracking of its pipe products.
The company supplies corrosion-resistant pipes for use in acidic environments with diameters ranging from 33.4 to 323.9 mm. The products are certified in accordance with API 5L (Annex H) and NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 recommendations.
