Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, has been awarded a Silver Medal by the renowned sustainability rating agency EcoVadis. The company makes solid progress across all pillars of sustainability.

This year EcoVadis rated Interpipe at 74 of 100 with a percentile rank of 92, placing the company among the top 8% of sustainable companies compared to others in the rating.

Since earning a Bronze Medal in 2021, Interpipe has demonstrated improvement across all key categories: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics & Sustainable Procurement.

- EcoVadis confirms our successful decarbonization efforts, which have already enabled us to outperform the 2030 EU targets, with direct CO₂ emissions at the level of 200 kg/ton. We are committed to reducing specific carbon emissions per ton of seamless pipes and railway products by 26% and 25%, respectively, by 2030 through efficient energy consumption and upcoming investments in new facilities.

Personnel policies complement and support the company’s sustainable development goals. Since 2021, Interpipe has expanded its employee development programs, earning high marks for workplace safety, career advancement, personalized skill training, and individual support — including ongoing patronage service for employees serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The company also remains committed to transparency and continues to improve its sustainable procurement practices.

About the company:

Interpipe is global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine. The company’s products are marketed in more than 50 countries all around the world via the network of sales offices located in key markets of Europe, North America and the Middle East. In 2024, Interpipe supplied 511 kt of pipes and 115 kt of railway products. Railway products are sold under the KLW brand.

In May 2025 Interpipe presented its Decarbonization Path, announcing the reduction in 2024 specific CO2 emissions per ton of seamless pipes and railway products by 61% and 46%, respectively, compared to 2010 levels. So, these rates are one of the best in the industry and fully aligned with the European Green Deal goal for 2030 - to reduce emissions by 55%.

The total number of Interpipe’s employees is about 9.5 thousand people. The number of our employees who serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other law enforcement agencies is at the level of 1070 people.

During 2024 the Company transferred a record amount of paid taxes and fees - UAH 5.5bln - to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds.
