Ultimate Product Line

Interpipe offers innovative solutions for railway carriage builders and railway operators.

Ultimate is a product line of wheels and wheelsets with low disc stress. These products were developed by the company's R&D department in accordance with European requirements for mechanical and thermomechanical braking properties and noise requirements.

The wheels and wheelsets of the new line provide high performance. The product line is characterised by an improved wheel rim design that allows it to withstand increased loads. This wheel is more reliable in operation and can become an alternative to conventional freight carriage designs, e.g., replacing the BA 004 design.

The product range currently includes wheels with diameters of 730 mm, 840 mm, 920 mm and 1,000 mm. The designs are compatible with railway axles with axle loads of 18 tonnes, 20 tonnes, 22.5 tonnes, 23.5 tonnes and 25 tonnes. All of them comply with European standards, including EN 13979, UIC 510-5, EN 13262 and are certified in accordance with ISO/TS requirements.
